Prabu Natarajan

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

 

Prabu Natarajan is executive vice president and chief financial officer of SAIC. With annual revenues of $6.9 billion and approximately 24,000 employees, SAIC provides engineering, digital, artificial intelligence and mission solutions across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets.

Natarajan oversees all financial activities of the company, including accounting and financial reporting, treasury, tax, planning and analysis, and investor relations. During his tenure at SAIC, Natarajan has also led several key company initiatives, including acquisitions and divestitures, strategic financial planning and shareholder-friendly capital deployment. 

Prior to joining SAIC in January 2020, Natarajan was vice president of financial planning and merger and acquisition for Northrop Grumman and a member of the company’s Chief Financial Officer Council. In this role, he was responsible for the development of the company’s long-term strategic plan and the Annual Operating Plan, the company’s pension and real estate and facilities portfolio, and a range of capital allocation matters including peer benchmarking, financial performance metrics and incentive compensation, while also managing the company’s M&A process.

Natarajan was also vice president of Business Management and CFO for Northrop Grumman’s $6 billion Information Systems sector. In this role, Natarajan provided leadership and vision for the sector’s Business Management function while also responsible for all of the sector’s business management activities, including finance, accounting, contracts, pricing, procurement, regulatory and export compliance, and real estate and facilities.

Before joining Northrop Grumman in 2011, Natarajan held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and senior roles at The AES Corporation. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, long range financial and business operations planning, finance and accounting, M&A, and building and managing successful finance organizations.

Natarajan currently serves on the board of directors for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Madras, India, and a Masters of Law from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada and Harvard Law School.
